Meet the friendly staff at Cataula Veterinary Hospital!
Dr. Graves attended University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of Cataula, is the daughter of Dr Blackmar, and grew up in the Blackmar family practice. She is the proud mom of a Border Collie ‘Mulligan’ and grey tabby cat ‘Ryoko’.
Dr. Blackmar grew up in the community of Cataula attending school in Harris County. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. In 1983 he graduated from University of Georgia Veterinary College. He worked in three different practices in Georgia before returning to Harris County to establish Cataula Veterinary Hospital, P.C. in 1990. He practices all areas of small animal medicine and surgery with an emphasis on general and orthopedic surgery. His personal life centers around his family and home. He enjoys his own pets, gardening and almost any outdoor activity.
Dr. Clardy has been a part of Cataula Veterinary Hospital since October 2021. He is originally from Columbus and grew up in Dunwoody, GA. He graduated Veterinary School from the University of Georgia. He also went to UGA for his undergrad studies – he is a dawgs fan through and through. When he is not caring for his patients, he enjoys anything outdoors – yardwork, golf, hiking, and walking to name a few. He currently has one fur baby of his own – the sweetest mixed dog named Mooch.
Kara has been managing Cataula Veterinary Hospital since November 2021. She was born in Tallahassee, FL and grew up right here in Cataula. She graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in zoology in 2006 and has been in veterinary medicine since 2008. Outside of CVH she enjoys martial arts and spending time with her family. She has one small dog and two cats. She would have many more cats if her husband would let her be a crazy cat lady.
